BLACK SHEEP & PRODIGAL SONS _ Established in 2005, Black Sheep & Prodigal Sons is a project by designer and artist Derrick Cruz. Guided by primitive mythology, personal experience and the bewildering qualities of nature, Cruz presents us with a collection of what he calls "conduits between materialism and intuition". Derrick Cruz is a faculty member at Parson’s New School for Design. He lives in Brooklyn and works in New York City.
