Langoliers recreates the process of organic growth in metal, defying expectations of texture and medium by using techniques traditionally reserved for fabric: knitting chain, casting crochet pieces, and carving trompe l'oeil knots and stitches. Langoliers was founded in New York City in 2007 by Pamela Liou and Zon Chu.
