Oxidized silver plated brass cuff

The fisherman’s stitch pattern of the Alan resembles coiled metal chains or chain mail, but is originally knit in soft organic material and then cast. By defying expectations of texture, the Alan questions the contrasts between hard and soft, masculine and feminine, and the union of metalwork and textile arts.
